The mission of Reggaedirectory.com is to share information on the music and culture of Jamaica. We offer information in written form, photographs, audio interview and music clips, and in video clips.

We want you to be able to access information on a wide range of artists and subjects – the more diverse, the better. This can include information on Jamaican Mento music, Ska, Rocksteady, Dancehall Reggae, Reggae radio, pioneers in the Jamaican recording industry, interviews with popular and not so popular singers and players, Jamaican history, sport, food, customs, Rastafarian religion, etc. Our offerings will be updated on a regular basis to continue to build a valuable resource of information.

The “Reggae Directory” originally took the form of a magazine which was first published in 1991. This Internet version employs various multi-media options and is a continuation of our effort to share the music and culture of Jamaica. We’ll do our best to maintain accuracy and we do welcome any and all corrections or additions.
